What amazon has offered to his customers is to choose from a selection of thousands items, which can be delivered to their homes. What is now awaiting is the federal approval for USA, because the amazon performed a successful testing the delivery by the drones in the UK. The patent for Amazon Airship was filed in 2014, but only came to light in 2017. What is meant to is that airships that are in the air be replenished by smaller USV which could carry potential workers, fuel and inventory. Drones would navigate horizontally to their destination and would use little to no power. Amazon gained approval from the FAA to operate its Prime Air drone in 2020. The development and testing works are going on at its U.K, US. Amazon is working on developing and testing its Prime Air facilities. The self-driving airships will carry a cargo of Amazon products and unmanned drones to deliver goods to customers. Amazon prime air drone delivery will enable itself to deliver packages up to 5-30 pounds with small drones. Amazon’s airborne fulfilment centers would hover at an altitude of 45,000 feet (13,7km) and be the focal point of a network of unmanned aerial vehicles. The sky’s the limit for Amazon’s flying warehouses. Amazon is using the data gathered during this beta test, and the feedback provided by customers, to expand the private trial to more customers over time. The service will soon expand to a third Walmart store in the same corner of Arkansas. The customer must receive his package within 30 minutes of he place the order. Walmart delivers a range of products to customers within a 1.5-mile radius of two Walmart stores. Amazon systems are designed to find their destinations safely. Cruising quietly below 400ft, carrying packages up to 5lbs (2.25 kg) and guided by GPS. Moments after receiving the order an electrically-powered Amazon drone makes its way down an automated track and then rises into the sky with the customer’s package on bord. In future Amazon plan to fly drones weighing an up to 55 lb (25 kg) within a 10 mi (16 km) radius of its warehouses, at speeds of up to 50 mph (80.5 km/h). The rules they set is that the order must be less than 5 lbs (2.25kg) to qualify for 30 minutes delivery. Also it must be small enough to fit in the cargo box that the craft will carry, and must have a delivery location within a 10-mile (16 km) radius of a participating Amazon order fulfillment center.
